Money: a substitute for social acceptance?
Handling or even contemplating money can relieve both physical pain and the distress of social rejection, according to a study by Chinese and American psychologists. We each have our own relationship to money, some healthier than others. Developing a deeper understanding of why it holds such powerful and often harmful sway over us can only help.
